10th Grade Class Advisors

Responsibilities

By the sophomore year, a student should have figured out how to respond to the rigors of high school, and can begin focusing on charting a course that will take them where they want to be by graduation. The 10th Grade Class Advisors help each student meet this new challenge.

All Class Advisors are responsible for coordinating Student Success Teams, Individual Education Plans, and other formal support structures, as well as handling many disciplinary issues for the students they oversee.

California High School Exit Exam

All 10th graders are responsible for taking the CAHSEE test, and must score 350 or higher on each part.

For more details on the CAHSEE, please visit the California Department of Education’s CAHSEE section.
